We Believe:
(A simple summary of our core beliefs)

The Bible

The Bible is God’s unchanging Word and His revelation of Himself to all people. Written by human authors under the supernatural inspiration of the Holy Spirit, it has God for its author, salvation for its purpose, and contains truth without any mixture of error. It is the supreme authority for Christian belief and life. All Scripture points to Jesus Christ.

God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. The one true and living God eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three Persons with distinct roles, yet one in nature, essence, and being.

God the Father

God the Father rules with sovereign love and perfect justice over all His creation. He cares for His creation according to His wise purposes. He is fatherly toward all people and is the Father in truth of all who trust in Jesus Christ.

God the Son

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He took on human flesh, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and died in our place to restore us to God. He rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will personally return to earth to reign as King.

God the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is fully God and works in the world to convict people of sin, draw them to Christ, and give new life. He lives in every believer from the moment of salvation, giving power for holy living, insight into God’s truth, and guidance to do what is right.

Salvation

Salvation involves the redemption of the whole person and is offered freely to all who trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. No amount of good works, religion, or self-effort can save. Eternal life begins the moment a person places faith in Christ and is eternally secure in Him.
